The journal "Reliability" has been published quarterly since 2001. It is included in the list of leading journals and publications of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC). Since 2010, the journal has been published with the support of Russian Railways. Since 2012, it has been published in two languages: Russian and English.

The journal comprehensively covers issues of reliability management (structural and functional) and system security (functional and informational), their standardization and certification, issues of managing system security and reliability risks, managing technical assets of large systems, and ensuring the survivability and fault tolerance of technical systems. Frequently covered topics in the journal include research results in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent transportation systems.

The peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal "Nadezhnost" is included in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of Candidate of Technical Sciences and Doctor of Technical Sciences in the following specialties and corresponding fields of science:

It seems that we know almost everything about risk, but at the same time, we know nothing. Reliability, risks, and safety of railway control systems

The article discusses the application of the ISO 55000 series of standards [2] in the management of a company's tangible assets. It describes a technical asset management system based on the URRAN methodology [4,5.6] — a methodology for integrated resource and risk management through analysis and provision of the required levels of reliability and safety of railway transport facilities. The role of the Russian Railways holding in the Russian economy and the problems encountered in railway transport in the current pandemic conditions are highlighted. The experience of the International Union of Railways (UIC) in asset management is considered [1]. The article presents the main provisions of integrated management of technical maintenance of railway transport facilities, describes the objects, functions, processes, goals and objectives of the URRAN system [4]. The problem of constructing a digital risk management platform in the field of traffic safety is considered [17, 18]. Some results of research and implementation of the URRAN system for managing technical assets in railway transport are presented.

Abstract. In this paper, we analyse various technical solutions for autonomous driving. Depending on the role of an autonomous system, different safety integrity levels may be required. We examine the three primary architectures. The first one is simply a support system that only requires a basic integrity, rather than a level. The second one is a simple replacement of the driver, which corresponds to SIL 1 up to SIL 2. The third architecture is an integration of ATO into a safe train protection system, which corresponds to SIL 4.
