The development of a locomotive driver assistance system using intelligent innovative technologies is being carried out by JSC NIIAS using domestically produced components.

This system will significantly improve safety during shunting operations. The onboard vision system prevents the passage of red lights and reduces the risk of collisions with obstacles.

The system continuously monitors the road conditions, alerts the driver of hazardous situations, and automatically applies the locomotive's brakes.
