Software testing of the EP-10 electric locomotive from Bombardier Transportation (Switzerland)

Software testing has been completed for the EP-10 electric locomotive from Bombardier Transportation (Switzerland).
The EP10 is a passenger electric locomotive, type 10. It was produced from 1998 to 2006 at Bombardier Transportation's Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant. Twelve locomotives were built.

This limited-edition passenger electric locomotive was designed jointly with Bombardier Transportation (Germany) as a replacement for the imported ChS series. The locomotive has an important feature: it can operate on either AC or DC current. To increase power, six asynchronous traction motors with an hourly output of 1200 kW are installed.
