Testing software for safe locomotive complexes BLOCK, BLOCK-KH by NPO SAUT (Russia)

Testing of the software for the BLOK and BLOK-KH safe locomotive systems from NPO SAUT (Russia) has been completed.

The system ensures the safe movement of trains and self-propelled rolling stock (SPS). It also automates the decoding of sensor readings and can be used on various railway sections equipped with ALS-EN and SAUT devices, interlocking systems, and with electric and autonomous locomotives.

BLOK is installed on the following rolling stock:

- Electric locomotives (DC and AC);

- Shunting diesel locomotives;

- Two-system locomotives;

- SPS;

- Rolling stock with motorized cars;

- Locomotives with gas turbine engines.
